Description of the project:

There are many Latest Arduino Based Projects which help us to improve our lives in various ways. This Arduino workplace Alcohol detector with reporting through SMS project is also one of those projects. And the main purpose of this project is to monitor the drinking cases in any workplace. Let’s take an example, suppose a worker comes drunk at his workplace or drinks at his office premises. Then our project detects this situation and then it immediately alerts the security authority about this issue. To solve this purpose we have used an Arduino Uno based circuit which consists of an alcohol detector.

Arduino is interfaced with the LCD display. This LCD displays the status of the system. Arduino is interfaced with a buzzer. Arduino interfacing with the GSM modem is done to send the SMS notification.

Whenever the user turns on the system, it starts monitoring alcohol. We can simulate this project using a deodorant bottle as it contains a certain percentage of alcohol. This system detects a drunk user. As soon as the system detects alcohol, it starts a buzzer and gives an alert at the workplace. Also, it immediately sends an SMS to the authorized person in the workplace. Once the authority receives an SMS, he/she can take the respective action against the concerned person/worker at the workplace.

This is an advanced alcohol detector using the Arduino Uno board. Using the LCD display, we can display whether the system has detected alcohol or not. Once the alcohol is detected, it is displayed on an LCD. The buzzer indicates the presence of alcohol. This breath analyzer project is very much helpful. It is a highly sensitive alcohol sensor at the workplace with an alarm indication. We used an MQ-series gas sensor and a piezoelectric buzzer in this project.
