In IOT projects, the data is transferred to the network. All the devices are monitored and/or controlled through the network, without any human interference. Data from human beings or any animals or plants are transferred to the cloud. Or even data from any automobile or machine or machinery is transferred to the network.
The person, animal, machine, and automobile form a group which is called things. All these objects make up a group that is referred to as “Things” in the word IoT-Internet of Things. And using IOT, these objects can be sensed using the sensor. Also, these objects can be controlled using the respective actuators. In these projects, multiple devices give feedback to the cloud-based storage, and at the same time these systems are connected with each other. Various big software companies are now doing a lot of research and development in the field of IOT.
We Push data to the cloud over the Internet in these IOT projects. The user needs to provide a WiFi network SSID name and WiFi network password while connecting the Arduino/Pic/8051 microcontroller to the WiFi zone. IOT is a fine combination of electronics engineering and software engineering. The Internet of Things (IOT) has applications in many areas like agriculture, medical, automobile, and industries.
