The Voice Controlled Robot is controlled through the voice commands given by the user who is operating this project. These voice command needs to be given through an android app that is installed on the user’s android mobile. Please note that the user should have a good internet connection in order to have a smooth operation of the android application. Speech recognition is done within the android app and then a respective command is sent to the voice-controlled robot vehicle. These commands are sent to the Voice controlled robot through Bluetooth. The microcontroller fitted on the Robot decodes these commands and gives an appropriate command to the motors connected to the robot.
In voice operated robot, the robotic vehicle movement is controlled via voice commands. This is an android-based project. In this project, we use a Bluetooth device to receive the command from the user. The user uses android applications to give a command to the Bluetooth devices. The BlueTooth device receives a command from the application and transmits the same to the 8051 microcontroller then the microcontroller controls the robotic vehicle as per command. The microcontroller is the main unit of our project. It’s the central processing unit (CPU) of the Robot. It receives various commands from the Bluetooth decoder and gives the respective output motor driver ICs
This robotic vehicle operated on 7 commands forward, reverse, left, right, stop, left U-turn, and right U-turn. In this project, we have used an 8051 microcontroller. After receiving the above commands, the microcontroller moves the motors as per the command. The communication between android applications and Bluetooth is serial communication. Here we have used an LCD display for the displaying project title it also shows different commands given by the user.
In this project, the robot is controlled by an Android mobile phone. The user needs to connect the Bluetooth decoder attached to the robot. Thus we need 1 mobile & 1 Bluetooth decoder. The Bluetooth decoder is always connected to the Robot. The android mobile is used to control the movements of the Robot. It consists of a Bluetooth decoder. It gives ASCII code output. This receiver enables wireless transmission & reception of serial data. It has 10 meters range. DC motor used for robotic vehicle movement.
